Science

At Castle View Primary School, our intention is to deliver a science curriculum which is broad and inclusive for all children. It is our aim to ensure that all lessons are exciting and engaging and spark children’s curiosity and fascination with the subject.

When children leave us after Year 6, the hope is that your children will leave with a breadth of knowledge in the subject, with an understanding into how to explore and ask questions around the subject.

Alongside following the 2014 National Curriculum, we use the scheme - Plymouth Science - to support our delivery. The lessons that we are able to provide your children boosts their subject knowledge while allowing them to work scientifically.
