Online Safety
Online Safety
At Castle View, we place a high priority on preparing children for the online world and use our PSHE and Computing curriculum to support this.
We also use Zip it! Block it! Flag it!
We expect all children to be able to explain how they can keep themselves safe online. The UK Council for Child Internet Safety has developed the Click Clever Click Safe campaign based around 3 simple and easy to remember principles: Zip it, Block it, Flag it.
If you would like to discuss any concerns around online safety or wish to seek support, please contact Mrs Hidden, our Designated Safeguarding Lead, or Miss Sheady, our Online Safety Lead.

The internet often plays a huge part in many young people’s daily activities; allowing them to communicate freely with others and share information with ease via messaging apps, social media and gaming networks.
