Pastoral Care, Personal Development and Enrichment
Personal Development, Enrichment and Pastoral Care
At Castle View Primary School, we are committed to developing the whole child through a rich programme of personal development, enrichment and pastoral support. Guided by our values of Aim, Believe, Care (ABC), we provide every pupil with meaningful opportunities to grow academically, socially and emotionally.
Our extensive enrichment offer includes leadership opportunities, arts and culture, sport, outdoor learning, life skills, educational visits and community engagement, ensuring that every child experiences a broad and inspiring curriculum beyond the classroom. We work closely with a range of partners and carefully monitor participation so that all children, including those with additional needs, can access and benefit from these opportunities.
Alongside this, our comprehensive pastoral provision supports pupils' emotional wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and personal development through targeted interventions, specialist support, wellbeing programmes and strong relationships with families. We believe that children thrive when they feel safe, valued and supported, and our nurturing approach helps every child develop the confidence, resilience and aspirations needed for future success.
Together, our personal development, enrichment and pastoral programmes ensure that every Castle View child is empowered to achieve their potential, broaden their horizons and flourish both in school and beyond.
